ENYCAP series polarized storage capacitors have high capacity and high energy density, and are an alternative to rechargeable backup batteries. Capacitors can self-discharge for months, and no battery balancing is required due to the use of specialized know-how. The ENYCAP series provides soft charging and low leakage current of less than 1A after 24 hours (IL) from 0.03mA to 0.24mA.
For design flexibility, the 196HVC ENYCAP series is available in multiple configurations, including flat surface mount, stacked through-holes, and flat placement with wires and connectors. The rated voltage also has the flexibility of 1.4V (single battery) versions and 2.8V, 4.2V, 5.6V, 7V and 8.4V multi-battery models.
