Toshiba Electronic Components and Storage Devices Co., Ltd. introduced a 3-phase DC brushless motor driven IC "TB67B001BFTG", which supports high-speed control and is applicable to the motors of server fans, sweeping robots and other equipment.TB67B001BFTG supports the motor supply voltage range of 5.5V to 22V, and can be used in a wide range of applications such as server fan motors and sweeping robot motors.

The new TB67B001BFTG uses Toshiba's DMOSFE as the output power transistor, with a maximum rated output voltage of 25V and a maximum rated output current of 3A . In addition, an abnormal rotation frequency detection function exceeding the maximum rotation frequency is also built in. TB67B001BFTG is built with a higher frequency oscillator. The maximum rotation frequency for anomaly detection is 1.875kHz, which is 25% higher than the existing TB67B001FTG. It can perform high-speed motor rotation control.

The product is packaged with QFN36. Its pin and package are compatible with the existing product TB67B001FTG and can be used in the same environment as the existing product for easy replacement. In addition, despite the small package, its motor driven IC output conduction resistance is still 0.6 Ω [3], which helps to reduce heat generation.
