Data de postagem: 2023-03-29

The LP87332A-Q1 is designed to meet the power management requirements of the latest processors and platforms in automotive camera and radar applications. The device has two step-down DC/DC converters, two linear regulators and two universal digital output signals. The device is controlled by an I2c compatible serial interface and an enable signal. Automatic PWM/PFM (AUTO mode) operation provides high efficiency over a wide output current range.

Pin Configuration

The LP87332A-Q1 supports remote voltage sensing to compensate for the IR drop between the voltage regulator output and the load point (POL), thereby improving the accuracy of the output voltage. In addition, the switching clock can be forced into PWM mode or can be synchronized to an external clock to minimize interference.

The LP87332A-Q1 device also supports programmable startup and shutdown delays and sequences, including GPO signals synchronized to enable signals. During startup and voltage changes, the device controls the output conversion rate to minimize output voltage overshoot and inrush current.

Simplified Schematic

LP87332A-Q1 includes two step-down DC/DC converter cores. Flexible core design; Most of the functionality is programmable, which makes it possible to optimize the regulator operation for each application. The step-down regulator provides supply voltage from 2.8v to 5.5v on the 0.7v to 3.36v regulator track.

The LP87332A-Q1 has the following features:

● Distributed switches support programmable conversion rates

● Automatic mode control based on load (PFM or PWM mode)

● Mandatory PWM mode options

● Optional external clock input to minimize crosstalk

● Optional spread spectrum technology to reduce electromagnetic interference

● Phase control to optimize EMI

● Synchronous rectification

● Current mode loop with PI compensator

● Soft boot

● Power Good logo with maskable interrupts

● PGOOD signal with optional sources

● Average output current sensing (PFM inlet and load current measurement)
